Job Description
- Manage all engineering requirements on designated vessels
- Manage internal workshops- and contractor's performance on designated vessels
- Manage designated vessel drydocking, inspections and major repairs
- Manage spare parts and technical inventory
- Identify and manage approved upgrades and cost saving initiatives
- Monitor vessel performance (fuel consumption, speed, effeciency)
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
- 10-15 years post qualification applicable ship repair experience
- Strong Knowledge of maritime regulations and vessel operations
- Experience in ship management and technical operations
