Specialist Artisan - Analyser Mechanician

Job Description
- To perform all artisan functions related to petrochemical plant instrumentation and control system maintenance, operations support and fault finding.
- An ability to read and interpret instrument loop drawings, control logic diagrams, data sheets and associated technical documents.
- Utilization of and adherence to RCA procedures.
- Compliance to the MOC process for changes to existing plant and equipment.
- Gas chromatography overhaul, inspection and calibration experience
- DCS experience (Honeywell)
- ESD experience (Honeywell)
- PLC experience (Siemens, Yokagawa, Mitsubishi, Rockwell, Allen Bradley)
- A practical understanding of IS and SIL
- A practical understanding of EX and hazardous area classifications
- QA/QC experience with instrumentation installations.
Requirements
- Gr 12 Certificate with Maths, Science and English literacy.
- NQF Level 4 instrument trade test certificate/Red Seal Certificate.
- Driver’s license (code 08).
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a qualified artisan
